Spending the day playing. Playing with color,designs,and playing with the cats. I think everyone should take one day a week and play!!

Painting with Onions?

DH and I took today to paint the bedrooms in the house. WHY DIDN"T SOMEONE STOP US? I scrapped , sanded,taped,primed,moved furniture from room to room,and finally painted for 7 hours today. My entire body hurts. My Dh is a fabulous painter and boy did he work his butt off today. We treated ourselves to Pizza and beer for him , a Diet Coke for me. The rooms look great but even though we used the "less odor" paint it still smells. I have the windows open, candles burning and I'm trying a tip from the WEB by placing cut onions in the painted rooms. I'll let you know if t works.

SPF kind of day..

Ho Ho Ho....

Ho Ho Ho....Looks like I need to get an Elf or two in my house and help me start a few more Christmas projects. First up is this little gem:


I have NO IDEA how I want to finish this one but I love this design so much I just have to start it and hope the finish will come to me.
I did get out and buy my Christmas cards for the season.
Which brings me to the question :Do yu have a THEMED Christmas when it comes to decorating?

I was truly spoiled!! I have already started using some of the floss. And I even got a piece of 36ct fabric which I have been dreaming of trying. I LOVE all my pressies!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Today is my ?? Birthday!!! I LOVE Birthdays. Unfortnately I'm the only one in my family who loves MY BIRTHDAY!! LOL LOL So I will be spending the day stitching and reading my favorite blogs. I baked cookies last night so I will have a few with my tea and watch a movie on Netflix. So all in all a very selfish day of me, myself and I. I always hold out hope that maybe just maybe one year my DH will surprise the hell out of me and order a cake and buy a present. Until then I rely on my stitching friends to celebrate with me and make me feel not so slone!!
 
So to all of you who inspire me,make me laugh,make me green with envy,support me,and just over all be here for me I say THANK YOU and I APPRECIATE all of YOU!!!!
